We have lived in the Caribbean (2006-2009) and while there travelled about 50% of the time.

For 8 years prior to that, we have hosted cruises and trips to the Caribbean and most recently have booked family and couple travel to that area.

How to Evaluate A Caribbean Hotel

Have you ever searched on line for opinions of what travelers thought of places they stayed, only to actually stay in the recommended hotel or resort and discover that it was not up to your personal tastes. Rankings online are inconsistent. What might seem like a Marriott-type experience to some is thought to be a Motel 6 experience to others.
